Handy things to know:

If your cabinetry is going to the ceiling, and will have scotia/coving, your builder must advise the Gib contractor they will need to return following the kitchen installation to place the scotias around the tops of the cabinets.

If you are having a wooden floor, the contractor will need to lay the boards, and give them the main sand, prior to the kitchen installation. Once the kitchen is in, they can return to complete the floor finishing. NOTE: Our policy is to fit all toe kicks at installation. There will be a charge to you if we need to visit again to fit toe kicks.

Vinyl or tiling is done following kitchen installation.

A Melteca kitchen with a laminate benchtop can be installed in one day. We require a completely clear kitchen space for our installation team.

If you are having a glass splashback, these are templated after the kitchen is installed. Following the templating, the glass is usually installed within 7 working days. Once the glass is in, the range hood can be fitted.

If you are having stone or stainless benchtops, these are templated following the installation of the cabinets, depending on the complexity of the design. Delivery is up to 15 working days following templating. IMPORTANT NOTE: Where a stone top kitchen is having a glass splashback, the glass cannot be templated until the stone top is in.

For stone tops: if applicable, we need to know the tap, water filter, and air switch model numbers, to enable the correct sized holes to be cut in the stone.

Our installer will return following the installation of a stone top to adjust cabinetry levels.
